is having an issue with digits where its searching for i-1 if the digit is i:

There does seem to be some sort of problem with the PDF, since all the numbers are wrong in Acrobat Reader as well.Copying from the "Received" line:

Received on 01 June 0886\ Accepted in revised form on 10 November 0886

But other readers (including pdf.js) are able to handle it. @martynas_bshould be able to say more.
