Remove highlight in native pdf reader

New user here, must be missing something!I can't identify how to erase an accidental highlight (not a note) from a pdf.The intuitive way might be to have an eraser in the highlight colour picker, or on the button.Where is it hiding, please!

Just select the highlight and press delete button.

That didn't work for me on a Mac ...

@challholt: It works the same on all platforms.Note that you can't delete a highlight created in an external program unless you import the annotations via File → "Import Annotations…".
