Standalone Note - Can't Insert Link

When I click the "Insert Link" in a standalone note, nothing happens.I have tried several standalone notes, in separate window and in side bar.Win 11 on the desktop application.

You have to highlight some text first to make it a link.

Gah!!Thank you, just rebooting and then I'll try it.

So many tutorials to read, so little brain.

I did read the tutorial in the forum on notes but missed this all together.
