I also encountered a ligature problem, as discussed in the following link:

However, the suggested solution of converting the font to Georgia did not resolve my issue.Perhaps I am executing the process incorrectly.
Here is my command line:
ebook-convert 'test.epub' test.epub --extra-css="body { font-family: Arial!}"
ebook-convert test.epub test.pdf

jiangnanqw12I have completely understood!the issue lies with the EPUB.I manually removed other fonts to convert the EPUB into "Arial" font.Therefore, I would also like to inquire about how to convert the font to Arial in an EPUB directly via command line.
