[Bug] Item Type selection status persisted between items

Steps to reproduce:

1.Select item A, update item type to Book
2.Select item B (or any other items), the Book has a checked mark in the Item Type dropdown list (the item is not actually selected in blue color)

This status is persisted even between collections, it seems to be a global status persistence

Can you reproduce this in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…")?If so, can you provide a Report IDand a screenshot?

Any update on this?I think this should be a easy-to-reproduce bug, it's really annoying because updating item type is common in my workflow

I do see this visually (i.e., it's clearly appears to be a bug), but I'm not clear how it actually affects functionality, i.e.would be more than a very, very mild visual annoyance?It's not like it actually changes the item type of the selected item or does anything else for that matter?
