BCE Date for books

Just adding my personal library and sorting by original publication date.When tryign to add works by Aristotle or Plato, I need to use BC or BCE dates, obviously.However, when I add 420 BC to the date field, it is blank on the main field and doesn't sort properly.Any ideas on how to get teh date field to work correctly for non-CE dates?

    I was convinced "-420" used to work, but currently only "Issued: -420" entered in the "Extra" field works.Whether B.C.or B.C.E.is used is determined by the citation style (most styles use BC, APA uses BCE, e.g.)
