Synchronisation and Storage

I tried to sync local data to the Web Library several times, and although I tried to adjust the sync Settings, each time my local data was deleted. Finally, I deleted my previous account and registered a new one to re-synchronize my data.

188BET靠谱吗However, zotero notes that this Zotero database was last synchronized with a different account (" Wind999 ") than the one you are trying to sync with now (" Wind6666 ").188BET靠谱吗If you continue, all Zotero libraries associated with the "Wind999" account will be removed from this computer.

I just want to sync my local data to my new account, what should I do?I no longer need the Web Library data of the previous account.

The message means what it says. You can't switch accounts while keeping the same data.Your local data is associated with the account you previously used to sync that computer, which is Win999.

188BET靠谱吗If your local data was being deleted while syncing the Win999 account, that means you previously deleted your library data on a synced computer, and Zotero was simply applying those same deletions. If you have a local copy with your data, you can undo that by using Replace Online Library. But switching to a new account is not a fix.

188BET靠谱吗If you email us at support@zotero.org with a link to this thread, we can undelete your previous account so you can continue syncing. You'll also need to delete the Wind6666 account.
  • The problem is that I tried using Replace Online Library on my previous account, but the local data still gets deleted. That's why I chose to delete my previous account and create a new one.I would like to know if you can delete my previous account and related data, so that I can directly use the new account for synchronization.

Did you follow *all* the steps at @dstillman'slink above ?ie those that prevent online content from overwriting the restored local data, and then forcing it to update the online from the local.
  • Yeah, the steps definitely work, and there's no other option here. But we'll need to undelete your account first, so please email us as requested above.
