Citing et al.when Bibtex lists authors as "X and others"

188BET靠谱吗My Bibtex citation lists "author = {Smith and others}," and Zotero is automatically styling the citation as "Smith and others" when it should be "Smith et al."
How can I get it to display as Smith et al.?I don't have the name of any other authors.

Edit: I've also tried to change the second author to "et al." but it would then display as "Smith and et al."
