That's not Troubleshooting Mode — you still have lots of plugins enabled.

Right, so you or some plugin you installed changed that setting, which is a developer setting that prevents popups from closing.It should never be set to 'true' in normal use.Go to the Config Editor in the Advanced pane of the settings and set that back to 'false'.

You have many plugins installed, and we might be able to figure out if any of them did this.

I set the font size by following the steps in the link, namely under the 'view' menu.However, the font size for the annotations when reading pdf did not change, as shown in the following figures:
