Find and replace to change period position relative to citations
Hello everyone,
I am compiling my PhD dissertation, which means essentially concatenating all of my papers together.
About half of my papers use a citation style that looks like this:
"Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet [1]."
In other words, the citations go in front of the period.
The other half of the papers have citations that are superscripts, placed after the periods:
"Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.1"
I have to choose one style for my whole dissertation.188BET靠谱吗This will mean moving the period from one side of the Zotero citation to the other for half of my citations.
Is there a fast way to do this?Sadly I cannot figure out how to find and replace using Microsoft Word.I tried using Advanced Search and Replace to look for
".[" and replace it with " ["
However, Microsoft Word seems to not recognize the square brackets surrounding the citation as a character.
I tried hitting Alt + F9 to display all field codes. Now each citation begins with
188BET靠谱吗"{ ADDIN ZOTERO_ITEM..."
Microsoft Word can find " ADDIN" but cannot find "{ ADDIN".It appears, once again, to not be able to find the curly brackets that start the citation code.
Is there a recommended method for changing the placement of periods and commas with respect to citations?
