    Presumably you know this, but you absolutely can't have the data directory in a cloud storage folder.

    I moved the data directory back out and onto my desktop of the cloud as soon as I realized the problem.188BET靠谱吗After that the data directory had subfolders for locate, logs, styles, and translators, plus zotero.sqlite.1.bak (212,488 KB) and zotero.sqlite.bak (214,728 KB), but no storage file.188BET靠谱吗As of today the data directory had a storage file with 3,644 items and zotero.sqlite with 215,576 KB.
    188BET靠谱吗When I open Zotero I get "Welcome to Zotero!"
    I have not yet tried syncing to my online library because it seems like restoring from the previous data directory would be a better solution.

    188BET靠谱吗Did you actually point Zotero back at the correct location in the settings?

    And there's no reason for this to be on your desktop.You should move it back to the default location in your home folder and set it back to the default in the settings.
