Help retriewing attached files

Hi everyone,

188BET靠谱吗Recently my work-laptop (on which I use Zotero) crashed. The only way ICT-support could get the laptop running again was by completely rebooting it.Overall this isn't a big problem for my work, as all files that I work on are saved in a cloud,.As such I can again access all of them now that my laptop is running again.188BET靠谱吗I am however facing a problem with Zotero.

After redownloading the software and syncing with my account I am unable to open the majority of the files that I previously attached to my sources.Whenever I click on a file, the following error message pops up: "The attached file could not be found".The general support page on this issue ( 188BET靠谱吗//www.brodersterzo.com/support/kb/files_not_syncing) does not help me, as the explanation offered there requires one to still have access to the laptop one originally uploaded the file with.As explained, however, this is not possible for me as I am still using the same (now rebooted) laptop.

Does anyone have any experience with this issue and know of a way to fix it?Or does this mean that I will simply not be able to access the previously attached files anymore?

I appreciate any help!

Thanks,
Felix

188BET靠谱吗You were at your file-storage quota, so additional files weren't being uploaded, which Zotero would've been warning you about on every sync.Upgrading your storage now, as you've done, doesn't do anything to fix that.Since you were at your quota, the files were just never on our servers.

If you delete the attachment items with the missing attachments, you can try using Find Available PDFsto download PDFs.That will work best if you're on a network or VPN connection with direct access to gated PDFs.
  • Thank you for the quick and clear reply!I'll try and recover some of the pdfs that way.

    Thanks again,
    Felix
