Feature suggestion - Highlight annotations should scroll together with page scroll

Is it possible to make the annotations on the left side bar scroll in sync with the page scrolling.I can see that if you click on annotation it surfaces the page and vice versa.This feels like a very logical feature to have.When looking at a page it is much more useful to show the annotations that are there on that page, if any, or upcoming pages.
