Specify the file path for storing screenshots or images

[Split fromScreenshot taken by Snipaste cannot sync across devices]

I have the same issue, and I use ZotFile and OneDrive to sync the attachments. To use OneDrive properly, the file syncing is depressed (shown below).

I hope users can specify the file path for storing screenshots or images in the future version, like ZotFile, which gives options to specify the location of attachments.

That's not going to happen.Embedded images are stored files188BET靠谱吗that are managed internally, so they only sync via Zotero file syncing.

If your problem is simply in getting Zotfile to move *other* file types (eg JPG) saved under an item to its Custom Location folder (eg Onedrive), you would add them to the list of file types able to be moved (eg by right-click Manage Attachments\Rename&Move), in Zotfile preferences - see below.

[Edit: posted at the same time as the confirmation above].188BET靠谱吗Images pasted into Zotero notes are another issue, as I believe they are stored in local Zotero storage and therefore only synced across devices if File syncing is turned ON.188BET靠谱吗The Zotero devs can confirm.

  • @tim820: I answered this above. This is about images in notes.
  • Sorry, I wrote my reply at the same time.In any case, saving images as separate files under an item as I described is an alternative solution to the problem (allowing Zotfile/cloud folder to sync them across devices).
