Shorten PERIODICAL name in Turabian

Is there a way to shorten the periodical name when citing turabian footnotes?For example, I have over 500 articles from the magazine "Catholic Action" that I intend to use in my footnotes.I want the footnote to say "CA" instead of the entire name of the periodical.Can that be done without changing the name in the "publication" block from "Catholic Action" to "CA"?
