Bibtex citation insertion style

Hello,

188BET靠谱吗I am using the RTF Scan style in order to drag and drop citations into word processors that don't have a Zotero plugin, as discussed here:

188BET靠谱吗http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/16592/citation-style-for-drag-and-drop-rtf-scan/

So I thought perhaps something similar could be useful for Latex and Bibtex.188BET靠谱吗Some other people considered that modifying the Zotero code would be the way to go:

188BET靠谱吗http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/146/2/integration-with-latex/

188BET靠谱吗I have achieved more or less the same result with a CSL style based on the standard Bibtex CSL style at //www.brodersterzo.com/styles/bibtex , so I suppose this could be used by other tools that use CSL.I am far from a Latex/Bibtex expert so I do not know how useful that is.Does anybody care?Is it worth it to submit such a (very simple) style?I'd be happy to if anybody's interested.
  • 188BET靠谱吗Hi, I am starting to use Zotero and I've just realized that what I am missing is exactly the functionality that you're describing!I think it would be a very good addiction and I'd be definitely interested to try it.thanks!
  • OK, I'll polish my CSL file a little bit and then submit it in a couple of days.Thanks for your input!
  • I have created a public gist for the style:

    This is my first submission, so I don't know what happens next.With a little bit of luck, interested people can already take a look at it?
  • CSL styles allow you to use either the bibliography form or the citation form (hold down shift to get the latter).It seems, then, that one should just modify the original BibTeX CSL file to give the citation style desired.Further, this modified style could theoretically use the compact cite form.That is: when pasting two references, it should produce: \cite{noksagt-2012,aborel-2012}instead of the current: \cite{noksagt-2012}
    \cite{aborel-2012}

    I actually hadn't noticed that feature (I should really read all text in dialog boxes, shouldn't I?)...thanks for pointing this out!Since it is so, I agree that merging this into the original BibTex style would be better.

    Weird, I thought I had taken care of that.Perhaps I haven't uploaded the latest version.I'll take a look at that and then I'll get in touch with the author of the original CSL to see if my modifications can make it into his code.
