ENW/Refer/BibIX documentation

Anyone know where I can find the "official" documentation for ENW/Refer/BibIX format? The best I found was http://www.sigmis.org/BibliographicFormatting.html

Right now I'm interested in the %Q tag, which is being imported as institutional author.A sample export I am looking at as well as the documentation I link above suggest that it's translated title.

Edit: also found http://hcibib.org/refer.htmland http://lucy.ukc.ac.uk/makhzan/refer.htmlbut neither seems official.188金宝慱亚洲F1The documentation that is linked from a couple threads on the forums is no longer available.

isn't/wasn't official, but it also is pretty extensive & it supports the corporate author interpretation. However, it also says that EndNotes implementation differs somewhat (surprise!)
  • Thanks!Yup, EndNote uses %Q for Translated Title.

I wonder though if it doesn't make more sense for us to conform to EndNote's mappings. How many systems still use Refer/BibIX other than EndNote?(I honestly have no idea) Every time I've encountered this format it was was as an export format for EndNote.
  • I agree - I'd go with what endnote does rather than some standard that doesn't even seem to exist anywhere.
  • Compiled a mapping table for EndNote's export. https://github.com/aurimasv/translators/wiki/ENW-Refer-BibIX-EndNote-tag-map

Idk when I'll have time/motivation to move this into a translator.
