Recover from mistaken delete of a collection folder?

I accidentally deleted the wrong folder on my local copy of a group library.Tried to find it in the trash folder, no luck.Is there a way to get a copy of it from the server, without wiping out all the other changes I made to the local library since the last sync?

    OK, figured out how to do this:

    1.On the server-side, create a temporary "rescue" collection outside the tree where the local-side collection copy resided before deletion.

    2.Copy the server-side contents of the collection to be rescued to the new "rescue" collection created in step 1.

    3.Create a new local-side collection with the same name as the formerly deleted collection.

    4.Then sync local-to-server as usual.The sync engine will not delete the rescue collection created in step 1.

    5.Copy the contents of the rescue collection to the newly synced server-side collection.

    6.Delete the temporary server-side rescue collection.

    7.Sync again.Voilá!The sync from local to server restores the local copy's deleted folder!



    I'm amazed that worked, but it did!Whew!!
