Cite a catalog-permalink
Hello everybody.
I need some help to cite the catalog-permalinks of my items. The problem is that the permalinks are in a attachment file and I don't know how to cite it in CSL.Maybe it's not possible in this way.
I try to find if the problem came from my translator because it will be better to have the permalink directly in the item notice itself (in Library Catalog or URL).In Library Catalog field I have only a generic name of the site it came from (Sudoc - Worldcat or BNF).
I am convinced that there are different way to solve this problem : directly in CSL, by a javaScript program to copy the permalink in a field, with a translator…
By the way is it normal that my translator doesn't put the permalink Inside the item notice ?Or will we need to create this ?
I tried to find a solution everywhere, but now I really need the help of the Community.
Thanks a lot for your help.

If you do want to do this, CSL is not an option (it can't access attached links).188BET靠谱吗You'd either have to run javascript code in Zotero ( 188BET靠谱吗//www.brodersterzo.com/support/dev/client_coding/javascript_api) or adjust the translators you're using to import the data (also javascript based) to add the catalog link to the URL field. 188BET靠谱吗//www.brodersterzo.com/support/dev/translators/coding
Both options, as you can probably tell, are somewhat technical.
I know my idea is unusual but as a librarian it could be helpful for some of our patrons.I talked to other librarians who wanted to do that too, so I think this option of citing catalog permalink could be interesting not only for me.
188BET靠谱吗We want to give access to the catalog directly from the citation whithout using Zotero, it could be useful also for a printing bibliography (the students Don't have to make a new research each time they need the book)
Thank for confirm me that CSL is not an option.
I tried to modify and run javascript code and also to adjust the translators but it was not compelling, i'm not well trained to do that.
That's why i need some help to give me some tracks.
Furthermore it could be interesting to know if other librarians want to share some ideas like it to valorize collections (donations or thematic ressources).
I want to cite a reference which could give access to the ressources not only in my Library.
The idea is that a donator could donate his personnal Library to an institution but as we can't take everything (because of documentary politic and place) I want to valorize all this donation (even the ressources we don't take) by editing and giving link to the integrality of his personal research Library.
188BET靠谱吗I want to give different possibility to the patrons by downloading the Zotero-rdf file (no problem for this), giving access to a public Zotero group (but i have more than 3500 items) and also using the citing tool of Zotero to produce web and paper bibliography with direct access to sudoc or worldcat.
So maybe there are a tool to create html file citing the bibliography including links.
188BET靠谱吗So I'm wondering if it's really possible directly in JS editor of Zotero.
However, I still search for a way to make it perennial for every new reference.
