Help with citation style
For an edited volume, we have to submit a manuscript in a somewhat strange format (see instructions below from T.M.C.Asser Press, and an example chapter can be foundhere).
My request to those of you with experience:
- 188BET靠谱吗would somebody be willing to make a Zotero style citation for us based on these instructions (against some remuneration)?
- which existing style does this come closest to (and could therefore be used as a basis)?
Thanks!
References and citations
References should be cited in footnotes.References to books, book chapters, or journal articles should be given in a shortened form: author name(s), year (without brackets) and page number or paragraph (margin number). Some examples:
One author: Barnard 2008, p 341orMiller 1991, para 30
Two authors: Sauter and Schepel 2009, p 179orMiller and Smith 1991, para 30
Three authors or more: Miller et al 1991, p 17orMiller et al 1991, para 30
In the case of two or more titles by the same author published in the same year, use a, b, c etc., for example:
Barnard 2008a, p 341 Barnard 2008b, p 295 Barnard 2008c, p 131
The complete bibliographical information regarding the citation should be provided in the
Reference list
at the end of each chapter (for more information, see ‘Reference list' below).
- References tonews articles, court decisions, laws, and regulationsshould remain in the footnotes!it is however possible to include lists of cases at the end of a chapter.
References to news articles
References to news articles should remain in the footnotes and be referenced in the following manner:
[Author's surname and initial(s) if available][year of publication between brackets][Title of article][URL][Accessed [format: DD MM YYYY, example: 1 January 2017].
Reference list
Each chapter should contain a separate reference list.Entries must be listed in alphabetical order according to the surname of the (first) author. The rules for alphabetization are:
First, all works by the author alone, ordered chronologically by year of publication
Next, all works by the author with a co-author, ordered alphabetically by co-author
Finally, all works by the author with several co-authors, ordered chronologically by year of publication.
Authors whose surname starts with de or De should be listed in the relevant position under the D, authors whose surname starts with a v or V should be listed under the V.Therefore, for example, van der Wilt, H does not belong under the W but under the V.
Please ensure capital letters (and lower case letters) are used where and when necessary, for instance where names of treaties, countries or persons are concerned.
If a book or article to be included in the reference list is not an English-language publication, please provide a translation of the title between square brackets after the foreign-language title!this translation will preferably be the official one, or, if such a translation is not available, your own.
