Lost library after MacOS field update

A collaborator launched an update for her Mac but the update failed.188BET靠谱吗Once she returned to Zotero her library was empty and apparently her zotero was not linked to her online account.

We are wondering if she could retrieve her lost library.What information would help to solve this issue?Thanks in advance.

188BET靠谱吗A back-up of her hard disk would very likely contain a copy of the Zotero database.188BET靠谱吗Without it, changes for getting the Zotero data of a non-synced account restored are slim, I'm afraid.

Thanks @adamsmith, we will try that but she didn't have Time Machine activated, so I think we are out of luck.188BET靠谱吗I installed Zotero years ago so I don't remember if linking with the online account was automatic, lesson learned the hard way.
