Moving References from My Library to a New Specific Library

Hello!

I have over 2000 references in my basic library (My Library) that I gathered for a specific project and that have nothing to do with my doctoral project.Is there a way to move those references to a new library specific to that project so they don't show up in my basic library?I can easily find them with a search as I applied tags.I would like to move and not just copy the references.

I also want to easily move references, rather than copying and then deleting them.

Between libraries, no.The potential for significant damage would be too big (e.g.depending on settings you could irretrievably delete notes and attachments in a single, irreversible operation.
