It seems the issue is back withe current version 1.0.32.Annotating PDFs churns threw the battery with the iPad getting very hot while connected to WiFi.Putting the device into airplane mode reliably solves the issue.

I do beg to differ.188BET靠谱吗Try adding https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Revenue_stamps_of_Turkey to your Zotero library.
-
Well, it is clearly a workaround.Let me explain: 1.we all agree that automatic extraction and recording of metadata from webpages is the preferred way of input 2.we also agree that there are cases when one wants to manually create a reference fo…

Thank you very much for this quick response.Even though this apparently isn't a bug, it feels weird that the developers have to suggest a work around for something they clearly think is a feature.
-
I second this suggestion.Losing information by changing item type never seemed like a good decision.
-
188BET靠谱吗Not exactly on point, but why don't you just export references as Zotero RDF (which is serialised as XML) and run XSLT on this output?188BET靠谱吗I use the opposite direction to prepare bibliographic data from TEI files for import into Zotero. The mapping requ…

Yes, the computer restarts after a kernel panic.188BET靠谱吗This continuous to happen occasionally while editing references in the Zotero client.188BET靠谱吗I am running the latest versions of macOS, Zotero, and BBT.
-
Thank you Adam for pointing me to this possibility. It is indeed as you suspected and I will turn to BBT's Github repository.

After digging through the schema files for CSL at https://github.com/citation-style-language/schema/blob/master/schemas/styles/csl.rnc, I found that I was just not looking for the right term. This behaviour is set through @collapse on .
-
I am currently trying to debug CSL styles and it appears that the MLA note style removes the author for subsequent references within the same citation group, e.g.Mark C.Marino, "Reading Culture Through Code", in The Routledge Companion to Media S…

Thank you once again @dstillman.I still have questions though.- as far as I understand selective syncing, deleting references and attachments from an unsynced group should propagate to the serves, as long as sync is turned off for this group libr…
-
Is there a way to remove Group libraries, which had been synchronised in the past, from your local client?Or can I just delete all references and attachments?金博宝世界杯体育赛事I cannot leave the groups in question as the file storage is tied to my user account, but…

I am just searching the forum for options and feature requests to open collections in tabs and would very strongly support such development!
-
This is amazing!Thank you @mjbaldwin for sharing this hack. Now we need official support for opening collections, searches etc.in tabs.
-
Thank you for the response.Yes I am aware of the sync options. Also a brief clarification: I do not want to put the database on an external storage medium (even though SSD via thunderbolt should not significantly impact performance).I am solely co…

+1, especially as this column is available in the web interface

Sorry for the wrong assumptions. The fix currently doesn't work on OSX 10.14.Will give it another try before renaming all the files and keep you updated.
-
Thanks for responding and for pointing out that the two URI's aren't equivalent.Your proposed solution of escaping # with %23, however, doesn't work.188BET靠谱吗Zotero doesn't import the file regardless of whether one uses # or %23.Prefixing file:// doesn't …

Also, this might help when searches are cleared when jumping from a PDF to the library
-
This would be a super helpful feature. It would allow to keep two searches open at the same time, which is something I constantly try to do :-)
-
My original problem of @plural="true" was fixed by updating pandoc to the latest version
-
My suggestion was to use the as a work-around for what the original poster tried to achieve.188BET靠谱吗But Zotero has now moved to CSL 1.0.2 and "collection-number" should now have the correct data type.
-
I am trying to understand this behaviour.Shouldn't produce the plural independent of context and would thus allow the asked for feature?Writing my own CSL and using pandoc with citeproc indicates that this isn't how things work, but I am at a los…
-
@martynas_b good point. Some of the PDFs were indeed digitised books.188BET靠谱吗I closed all tabs, restarted Zotero, and opened six publisher-provided PDFs of journal articles published in the last months.188BET靠谱吗Each of these PDFs has been annotated within Zotero.…
-
Thanks for replying.188BET靠谱吗Zotero starts at 1,13GB without any PDFs open and a library of 1865 references.I open 4 PDFs each between 1,9 and 4,9MB in size and memory jumps to almost 2GB.188BET靠谱吗Another two PDFs of the same size and Zotero oscillates between 2,2…
-
Just a quick addendum: the legacy reference manager Sente uses less than 1GB even when I open two very large databases with 20000+ references each, with multiple PDFs and other attachments equally opened in tabs.
-
I second this suggestion.Ideally, one could also have the PDF as a separate pane either below or to the right of the reference list.188BET靠谱吗This would bring Zotero on par with Bookends and the Sente UI of old.
