I hope this gets sorted out as the UI evolves.The older (switch visible on the pane) was much more convenient, especially when a lot of author titles have been mangled.

I have both, unfortunately.The only plugins I have are attanger (the zotfile replacement) and the betternotes plugin.if you think I should raise it on their github I will.is there a way to narrow it down without systematically shutting things…

If you want to do it with multiple tags as well as multiple items (ie put t1, t2...Tn to all of a, b and c) then zutilo offers that function.
