My WebDAV server supports shared folders in which each user has their own account but accesses the same folder. No shared passwords are needed.

@dstillman - Thank you for your reply. Here's an example.First, drag and drop a file called "viewcontent.pdf" into your library. This results in an attachment with an unhelpful name in your library and is what often happens when viewing a PDF dir…

Right, reading that link you sent, I realize they are different (thank you though!)—and that's why I'm saying that, despite the huge list of improvements in 7 (and they are legion), I do not see this as an improvement over version 6.Actually it is …

188BET靠谱吗If this is the way Zotero is designed to work, I would suggest (and I know I could be wrong) that most users would be least confused by simply defaulting to show the filename in the main pane instead of the title--which, as I mentioned above, is oft…

Interesting.Yes, it works in the Detailed Record view, but not in the iframe.

I'm readdressing this to say that the problem with EBSCOhost continues.188BET靠谱吗When running through a university proxy server (e.g., https://web-s-ebscohost-com.ezpoxy.university.edu), Zotero Connector is able to identify the article from the page but cann…

I don't think there's anything to solve.pCloud only provides WebDav now via a paid subscription. You either need to pay for that, or set up your own WebDav server (e.g., getting a Synology device that includes WebDav).
-
You can share a folder with Synology's WebDav service and then use Synology's DNS service to connect to the device remotely. You would need to set up your router to allow passthrough connections to your Synology device on the port you specify when y…

Jumping in here to mention that this would be helpful for us, as well.We have our own WebDav server.

This is so cool.Thank you!

188BET靠谱吗@dstillman "Zotero has never supported direct copying of zotero:// links for items before — only plugins have — but now that we're including these in exported notes, it probably makes sense for us to add support for it.We'll think about how best …

Oh, wow!You have included some great time-saving features here.Very nice work indeed! And thank you very much for the video explanation.

(Accidentally posted twice.)

@ThomasJorna, this is the most thorough implementation I have seen.Thank you!The only tidbit I would mention is that on Windows 10, the commas are out of place in the editing panel on the right (they appear in the middle of the line next to the au…

@bwiernik, the drawback to including the boldface tag in the author name is that I use some of my own references in my writing, which breaks the citations in APA.For APA, you would need to put Lastname, FI.MI.in the last name field and then delet…

Just wanted to mention that this would be helpful for me, as well. The application here again would be boldfacing my own name in my curriculum vitae references per university standards.

@dstillman wrote, "This feature will likely be changed in a coming update to automatically create parent items for unsuccessful metadata-retrieval runs, with an option to populate the metadata by identifier at the top of the item pane.If you just s…

Thanks adomasven - I did add the native connector for Edge, but I had the same problem. However, there is progress.I found that the problem appears to be with using a proxy server. When I am onsite and using the campus network, the EBSCOhost conn…

Thank you for this update.Related, to this, I have been wondering about CSL 1.1.188BET靠谱吗Is that planned for Zotero 7, or will it be arriving in an earlier (or later) Zotero version?I'm asking because the institution-short specification appears to be pla…

+1 here as well.I'd be happy if I could just customize the color options that are there.I'd like to use different shades of the highlight colors.188BET靠谱吗I use lighter/brighter shades of these colors in my highlighting outside Zotero and would like to be…

188BET靠谱吗I am following up to this message to say that how I am addressing this now is by unchecking the file sync options in Zotero's preferences, then exiting Zotero, then moving the Zotero\storage folder to OneDrive, and then in Windows creating a junctio…

...and I just saw that the pCloud free webdav support ended.Ah well.

a.ashjari - Same problem here.Just started happening for me too.

Same problem here on Windows 10.188BET靠谱吗Had to fire up my old MacBook Air and install Zotero on it in order to select my references (498 references).Good thing I had a Mac...

Ok.Thank you anyhow!

188BET靠谱吗Yes, the zotero://open-pdf URL.They might be a hack, but they are brilliant and extremely helpful! Can you include that hyperlink in the citation HTML so that when you copy it out to another application the hyperlink goes with it?Right now, when y…

Great to hear about the tabs--I just tested it on the beta and like the way you all have implemented this!188BET靠谱吗Yes, I realize that you can jump to the comment location through the Zotero interface itself, but the type of qualitative analysis I do acros…

Very good!Thank you!

Thanks.I like to use package managers, and package managers link to the release version.I had no problems with beta.I did disable the internal PDF reader, though, for three reasons.First, the tabs were taking up too much screen real estate.Sec…

The concern about security is valid here, but I am on a beta version and want to get back to production.Other than disabling updates, is there another way to get back to the production release from a beta version?
